ILLINOIS CENTRAL COLLEGE HOSTS FRIDAY CAMPUS VISIT DAYS THIS FALL

Illinois Central College will host Campus Visit Days from 9:30 am to noon on Fridays this fall to give potential students information on various program options and the chance to see the College up close and personal.
This year, ICC will group programs by “Career Cluster” on the same visit day to better categorize career fields that share common traits.
·        Health Careers – October 5, Peoria Campus
·        Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics – October 26, East Peoria Campus
·        Arts, Audio/Visual Technology & Communication – November 2, East Peoria Campus
·        Agricultural & Industrial Technologies – November 30, East Peoria Campus
Friday Campus Visit Days are free of charge, but registration is required. Participants may register online and find a full listing of the programs featured during each of these Friday Campus Visit Day events by visiting icc.edu/visit
Additional Friday Campus Visit Days for business, education, human services, humanities, public safety, and hospitality programs, as well as general information for undecided students, will be available in Spring 2019, beginning in late January. Information on these upcoming Friday Campus Visit Days is available on the website.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest.
