Reditus Labs Adds Medical Director

REDITUS LABORATORIES ADDS MEDICAL DIRECTOR


 PEKIN – Dr. Lorine (Lori) LaGatta, M.D., has joined Reditus Laboratories as medical director. She is responsible for the overall operation of the laboratory, ensuring that the laboratory provides quality and timely patient results.

Dr. LaGatta is an experienced, board-certified pathologist who has spent her career in both hospital-based and reference laboratory settings. Originally from Ohio, she graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. LaGatta completed her pathology training in the Army and spent an additional five years on active duty as a hospital-based pathologist at Fort Hood, Texas. She then was the medical director for one of LabCorp’s Center’s for Excellence for Women’s Health for 10 years, and after that spent three years back in the hospital lab environment.

She is certified by the American Board of Pathology and has special interests in uropathology, gynecology pathology, gastrointestinal pathology and dermatopathology. Dr. LaGatta has multiple state licenses. Professional memberships include the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
