ICC KICKS OFF YEAR-LONG 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH OPEN HOUSE AT PEORIA CAMPUS SEPT. 19
Illinois Central College will kick off a year-long celebration
commemorating its 50th anniversary with an Open House on Tues.,
September 19 from 4 to 7 pm at the Peoria Campus, located at 5407 N. University
St., Peoria. The event is free and open to the public.
Guests will have the opportunity to visit the newly constructed
Student Center, as well as recently remodeled buildings on campus. All program
areas and halls will be open for tours and demonstrations.
Building and classroom tours, as
well as demonstrations will be available for the following areas:
· Student
Center: Bookstore, Library, Campus Dining, Student Life
· Arbor
Hall: Enrollment Services, GED classes, Dental Hygiene, Massage Therapy
· Birch
Hall: Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Certified
Nursing Assistant
· Cedar
Hall: Health Careers Simulation Labs
· Dogwood
Hall: Culinary Arts
· Hickory
Hall: Taste of Learning – abbreviated sampler sessions of Adult Community
Programs
· Maple
Hall: Science labs
ICC President Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey will offer a welcome at 5 pm
in the Student Center Dining area. ICC Campus Dining will provide refreshments
in the Student Center.
Complimentary shuttle service from the Student Center will be
available to transport visitors between halls.
