GOODWILL AND JOLIET JUNIOR COLLEGE OFFER FREE JOB SKILLS WORKSHOPS

Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois and Joliet Junior College have partnered to offer FREE job skills workshops. Workshops are held at the Morris Education Center in Morris, Illinois.
“This is another great partnership for us,” said Patty Fuchs, Goodwill President & CEO. “We rely on these great local organizations to help us facilitate our mission and offer the free training that is going to help people find and maintain employment.”
These free workshops cover a multitude of areas designed to assist people in finding employment and building the skills needed in today’s workforce. The curriculum includes; resume building, job searching using the Internet, computer basics, email basics, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Goodwill of Central Illinois is a non-profit organization that provides job training, career and vocational services to veterans, individuals and families who are working to better their lives. Goodwill also operates a youth mentoring program for youth ages 12 to 17.
