The law offices of Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius and Cerulo will host a Labor & Employment Seminar on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Par-A-Dice Hotel in East Peoria, Illinois with complimentary continental breakfast.

Quinn Johnston attorneys will speak to issues regarding employment law, drug testing in the workplace, employee handbooks, Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment and workers' compensation.

The seminar is complimentary, but registration is required. Illinois CLE and HRCI credit is pending and the program is approved for 3.5 CPE credits.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
