AMBUCS Charity Auction

This year’s May 4th Pekin AMBUCS Charity Auction should reach a milestone.  If the  41st annual public auction nets at least $40,000, the club will have raised over $1,000,000 for area charities and non-profit organizations.  Donations for new auction items come from hundreds of area merchants in the form of merchandise and gift certificates.  Used items from vehicles to toys will be featured, along with a nice assortment of celebrity goods from the sports and entertainment field.  A complete list of auction items can be found at www.PekinAmbucs.org.

A big crowd pleaser each year are the grilled butterfly pock chop and ribeye sandwiches, with homemade strawberry shortcake.  The auction will be held inside the Memorial Arena in Mineral Springs Park in Pekin, and starts at 5 p.m.  There is no admission charge.
