Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates President Baylee Gambetti for International Women's Day

March 8th marks International Women's Day and the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize our current President, Baylee Gambetti, for her outstanding achievements and community commitment. Baylee Gambetti is currently a broker of RE/MAX Traders, Unlimited Ladendorf and Gambetti. However, she may be better known as "Pekin's Biggest Cheerleader".

Baylee serves on (or as)  the Pekin Area Association of Realtors Board of Directors, Tazewell County Children's Advocacy Board, Pekin YWCA Board of Directors, Pekin Union Mission Trustee, Strategic Planning Commision Task Force Pekin YWCA, and the Strategic Planning Commision with the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a past President Pekin Main Street Board of Directors and past President of Pekin Kiwanis Club (current member). Baylee served as the 2020 Pekin Marigold Festival Chairperson and has been selected as the 2022 chairperson as well. She has been recognized by Peoria Area Women in Leadership and was a graduate of the YWCA Women's Leadership program as well as the R. David Tebben Community Leadership Academy. Baylee has received the Peoria Area Association of Realtors Community Service Award and most recently the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce Community Recognition Award for 2021.

Baylee recognizes her civic involvement has been fostered by other women in leadership roles. Baylee identifies Mary Ann Ladendorf of RE/MAX Traders, Unlimited Ladendorf and Gambetti for pushing her professionally and for creating a culture of civic involvement. She recognizes Barb Strand as a "big cheerleader" from the moment Baylee returned to Pekin from college. Baylee also recognizes Debbie Simon, Chris Schwartz, Katie Kriegsman, Marggie Seeyle, and Kathleen Mackaman as influential women in her career and community.

We are proud of Baylee's extensive commitments and dedication to making the Pekin area a great place to live, work and play.
