GOODWILL OPENS STORES AND CONTINUES EMPLOYMENT, VETERANS AND YOUTH SERVICES
Goodwill of Central Illinois has reopened their stores with new hours and a social distancing policy. Until further notice, Goodwill’s store hours will be Monday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shoppers will be required to adhere to social distancing and wear a face covering or mask. Each store will limit the number of shoppers, based on store capacity.
Donations will be accepted, as they have been during the shutdown. Touchless donating is available with bins available outside each donation door. Staff will be available to assist if desired.
As during the shutdown, Goodwill’s employment, veterans’ support, and youth services will be available, virtually. In person assistance is available by appointment only. Call 309-339-7326 for further information or arrange an appointment. In person meetings will require social distancing and face covering.
“Our procedures have been altered, but our mission is the same,” said Don Johnson, Goodwill president and CEO. “We are ready to provide the services our community needs after such a trying course of events. The safety of our shoppers, donors, participants, and staff are our number one priority. We will remain vigilant as we all strive for normalcy. Thank you to those who donated during the shutdown. Your generosity means our free services can continue and our community will get the support it deserves.”
