ProHealth Medical Group Recognized by UnitedHealthcare

ProHealth Medical Group is the recipient of the UnitedHealthcare PATH Excellence in Patient Service Award.
The PATH program was developed by UnitedHealthcare to help improve outcomes for its Medicare Advantage members by encouraging greater use of preventive health care services. The Excellence in Patient Service Award is based on clinical results that measure how successfully practices have closed gaps in patient care.
“We’re honored to receive this recognition from UnitedHealthcare,” said Dawn Moushon, Vice President of Practice Management for ProHealth Medical Group. “Our practices are dedicated to providing the best possible patient experience and achieving the best possible patient outcomes. Preventive health care services, such as regular screenings and annual check-ups, are an important step in that process.”

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
