IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A PLANE, IT'S MURDER - When super villains start dropping dead, it takes a super sleuth to solve the mystery. Will the Joker kill the audience with laughs ... or will he kill them in a more deadly manner? Can Lois and Clark figure it out - or will it take the Boy Wonder and Inspector Gadget? See for yourself in this super-mystery - and come dressed as your favorite comic book hero or villain!

Arrival is suggested about one hour prior to the start time for seating, wine tasting and "mingling" with the cast, this is your chance to let them know, if you want to participate in the show. There are three complimentary wine samples per guest at the tasting bar and wine can be purchased by the bottle or glass, beer and sodas also available. The performance begins between 6:35-7pm, and will be held in the tasting room in the main building. Dinner is served buffet style after the first act. Dessert is served to the table. Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Only high schools are eligible, but others can participate including teachers, family and school supporters. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
