Randy McDaniels Named President of ISHMPR

Randy McDaniels, president McDaniels Healthcare Marketing, a communications firm headquartered in Pekin, Ill., was recently named president of the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (ISHMPR). The announcement was made as part of the organization’s annual conference in Oak Brook, Ill.

“I am honored to lead such a great organization that has played a major role in my professional development over the years,” McDaniels said. “Under my leadership, the board will make every attempt to listen to the membership and provide more value as we move forward in this challenging healthcare environment.”

A graduate of Bradley University, McDaniels has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and has more than 20 years of experience at the agency, working with both traditional and online healthcare marketing. He has worked his way through the agency as copywriter, producer, media buyer and account executive before becoming president. A member of ISHMPR since 1989, McDaniels has served as treasurer, Pinnacle Awards chair and as conference chair. In addition, he has managed the ISHMPR internship program.

As an affiliate of the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA), ISHMPR is a group of healthcare marketing and communications professionals dedicated to offering networking, recognition and educational opportunities for professionals in the fields of healthcare public and community relations, marketing and affiliated services.
