Goodwill GoodGuides Seeks Mentors

GoodGuides is a national youth mentoring initiative for youth ages 12-17.  GoodGuides pairs adult volunteers from the community with youth in a mentoring relationship for the purpose of providing positive guidance, career exploration, and maximizing their overall potential.  Since 2009, GoodGuides mentors have invested over 13,000 hours of mentoring and career preparation to central Illinois youth.

Goodwill has started a new GoodGuides® Youth Mentoring program year.  They anticipate over 110 youth in area schools to sign up, and they're looking for volunteer mentors to serve as positive role models to these students.  The commitment is around one hour each week and you can expect to feel how rewarding it is to make a difference to a youth and give back to your community
