14th Annual Eagle Day Festival

Saturday, February 8th

Events to get you "up close and personal" with American Bald Eagles and other birds of prey are scheduled all day 

The Nature Conservancy's Emiquon Preserve
9am - 3pm
Spotting scopes for eagle viewing; warming station with hot cocoa; bird ID materials and TNC exhibits; winter hiking and cross-country skiing

Dickson Mounds Museum
9am - 3pm
Free-flight live raptor shows by the World Bird Sanctuary at 11am and 1pm (tickets are free, but must be secured prior to show due to limited seating); kids and science activities will be offered throughout the day. 

Lewistown Visitors Center 10am - 4pm
Wildlife Prairie Park's Birds of Prey Exhibit from 1pm to 4pm

Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge
9am - 3pm
Enjoy an 8-mile auto tour around the refuge; Open House at Refuge Headquarters 

Havana Nature Center
9am - 2pm
Eagle viewing and kids activities; Eagle Plunge at 1:00 
Food will be available for purchase at the museum.
