Goodwill to Announce New Program Focused on Finding Jobs for Women
On Wednesday, February 6, 2013 Goodwill will hold a press conference to announce details of its newest program, Beyond Jobs.
The Beyond Jobs program, under a grant from the Walmart Foundation, will focus on unemployed and underemployed women in Central Illinois. Women who participate in the program will be matched with respected area employers and receive continued support from Goodwill as they grow in their new careers.
Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois is a non-profit organization that provides job training, career and vocational services to veterans, individuals and families who are working to better their lives. Revenues from the sale of donated or recycled items support the Vocational Services programs of Goodwill.
