Pekin Hospital Recognizes Volunteers
Pekin Hospital recognized its volunteers at the
Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held April 20 at the Pekin Moose
Lodge.
During 2011, hospital volunteers recorded a total
of 39,700.5 hours of
volunteer service. Volunteers donated 10,365.5. Volunteens donated 531 hours, and Escorts donated 9,345 hours. In addition, the Pekin Hospital League members donated 19,459 hours.
39 volunteers were given special recognition for
their hours of service:
100 Hours –Albert

1,000 Hours – E.J. Eberle,
Mary Gardner, and Rita Hindenberg
1,500 Hours – Diane

Special recognition was also given to those
volunteers who donated the most hours in their division. Dane Meeker
volunteered 103 hours for the Pekin Hospital Volunteen Service, E.J. Eberle
volunteered 868 hours for the Pekin Hospital Escort Service, Beulah Snyder
volunteered 593.5 hours for the Pekin Hospital Volunteers, and Shirley Williams
volunteered 603 hours for the Pekin Hospital League.
