Lawrence Named Director of ICU/CCU at Pekin Hospital
Pekin Hospital is pleased to announce Cheri Lawrence, RN, CCRN, has been named Nursing Director of ICU/CCU.
Lawrence has been a dedicated employee of Pekin Hospital since 2000, where she has held positions as Staff Nurse, Charge RN for CCU, and her most recent position, Clinical
Supervisor of CCU/7N.
She graduated from Methodist Medical Center School of Nursing in 1986. She received her CCRN certification in 2004 and continues to maintain that certification every three years.
Jo Ellen Patterson, RN, MS, Vice President of Nursing, says, “Cheri has done an outstanding job as a Clinical Supervisor over the past two years. We were very happy to promote her to this position.”
As Director of ICU/CCU, Lawrence will work closely with physicians and staff to help develop and direct processes that assure the highest quality of patient care for the people in the communities we serve.
Lawrence is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and planning winter getaways to warm places.
