Summer concert series planned for Pekin in 2020!
The Avanti’s Dome has announced plans for a summer concert series. The “Dome After Dark” Summer Concert Series will take place outside on the lawn to the north of the dome. The series will span multiple dates throughout the summer as well as multiple music genres – both regional and national level entertainment is planned. There will be food and beverage vendors as well as merchandise vendors at the shows. While dates and artists are still being finalized, the venue plans to make the full announcement before the end of January.
Avanti’s Dome General Manager Lelonie Luft stated, “After the great success of the Joe Diffie event this past summer, we realized we had put together something special here. We want to keep the good times rolling this year and continue to grow our outdoor entertainment events in Pekin.”
Leon Edwards from Edwards Marketing said, “The venue is a perfect location to host an event like this. There is ample free parking, nearby restaurants and hotels, and the setting is beautiful with the Dome as the backdrop on one side and the woods on the other. Our plan is to keep ticket prices low while still bringing in names that people know and are going to get excited about!”
