GOOD TO GREAT

Published in 2001 and based on 9 years of research and analysis, in Good to Great, author Jim Collins enumerates the principles for building a great company in unpredictable and rapidly changing times.  He asks and explains, "How can a good, even mediocre company achieve greatness?"  According to author Collins, "Greatness is not a function of circumstance.  Greatness is largely a matter of conscious choice and discipline.  Whether you prevail or fail depends more on what you do to yourself than on what the world does to you."
