Rivermen Introduce 2013 Winter Freeze Pack

The Peoria Rivermen have announced the Winter Freeze Pack for the 2012-13 season! This year's package includes 10 undated vouchers good for any game in the 2012-13 regular season, 4 additional tickets for the March 17th game and 2 Blues tickets (game to be mutually agreed upon)! With premium games on the schedule, the Winter Freeze Pack provides you with the freedom to choose which games you would like to attend, while providing you the best savings on Rivermen tickets.

Premium dates include:
  • January 26th, Ryan Reaves Bobblefist 
  • February 16th, PNC Kids Jersey Night 
  • February 23rd, Peoria Air National Guard Team Poster 
  • March 17th, St. Patrick's Day with the Rivermen (St. Patrick's themed jerseys with a jersey auction after) 
  • March 23rd, Hy-Vee Kids Hockey Stick 
  • March 30th, Free Food Night 
  • April 20th, Fan appreciation Night 

The Holiday Pack can be purchased in either the lower or upper bowl for $240 (seating excludes Glass/First Row). Purchase now and receive four free tickets to our St. Patrick's Day game vs. Grand Rapids, special start time of 3:05pm.

Rivermen Winter Freeze Packs will be sold throughout the Winter season and can be purchased by calling the Rivermen at 309-676-1040 or by visiting the Peoria Rivermen office located inside the Peoria Civic Center. The Rivermen office is open Monday-Friday from 9-5:30pm and on weekend game-days starting at 10am

The Peoria Rivermen are back in action this weekend as they finish off a four-game home stand with a game tomorrow at Carver Arena when they host the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:35pm. Get there early to get your Ryan Reaves bobblefist!

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
