New Member Appointed to Pekin Hospital Board of Trustees


Doug M. Parsons, of Peoria, was recently appointed to Pekin Hospital’s Board of Trustees to serve a three-year term.  He will fill a position vacated by Ron Miller. 

Parsons is President/CEO of Excel Foundry and Machine, Inc. in Pekin.  He earned a BBA from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  He also completed postgraduate studies at Harvard University- Kennedy School of Government, and Bradley University in International Business.

He currently serves as Director of RMH Foods in Morton.  He also serves on the Advisory Board of Pekin Community Bank.

Pekin Hospital is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of civic and business leaders.  The Board is responsible for the quality of patient care along with the property, funds, and affairs of the hospital.  Board members include:  Curtis A. Eeten, Kathryn O. Kramer, M.D., A. Richard Kriegsman, Janet M. Lange, Jason W. Proehl, Eric V. Reinertson, M.D., Edward D. Sirotak, James Smalley, M.D., Ph.D., Andrew J. Sparks, and Michael J. Tibbs.
