TCGHS August Meeting

Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, August 14th at 7:00 PM at the Ehrlicher Research Center, 719 N 11th St., Pekin.

Claudie Huey, a native-born Pekinite, will present Where in the world is it?
It's in Pekin!
—a slide program showing many buildings, facilities, institutions, and other landmarks in the city of Pekin.

Claudie is  a graduate of Pekin Community High School and Bradley University, and a long-time teacher in Pekin Public School District #108.  Many of you may know Claudie from her extensive work as a community volunteer and as the owner and operator of B & M Photographic Studio in Pekin (with her husband Steve).
This presentation will be unique and fun, testing your knowledge and memory of the history of Pekin.

You will gain a great appreciation for some of the architectural beauty and detail of many of the featured subjects.

The program is open to the public.  A short business meeting will follow.
