KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Ticket Night:

The Burlington Bees begin a three-game series in Peoria on Tuesday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. It's a KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Ticket Night as fans can bring a KRAFT package wrapper to a Chiefs game on Tuesday's and receive a buy one ticket, get one free offer. It's also Salute to Pawn Shops and Antiques Night. The Chiefs will be saluting the greatest antique shows and pawn stars throughout the evening. BUY TICKETS

Dollar Night:

The eighth game of the homestand is a 6:30 p.m. game on Wednesday, May 11 against Burlington. It's the second $1 Night of the year with hotdogs, soda, and ice cream all available for only a buck each. Wednesday is also the Salute to Sponsors Night as the Chiefs will be giving a special thanks to all the companies and organizations that make this season possible. BUY TICKETS

Thirsty Thursday:

The series ends with another 6:30 p.m. start on Thursday, May 12 with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. It's another Thirsty Thursday presented by Kelleher's Irish Pub & Eatery, Miller Lite and Baumgarten Distributing as 16oz. domestic drafts and all fountain sodas are just $2.00 once gates open. There will be a pre and post-game party at Kelleher's with specials on domestic beer buckets. Celebrate being single as well with the Chiefs' Singles Night at the ballpark. BUY TICKETS

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Only high schools are eligible, but others can participate including teachers, family and school supporters. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
