Pekin Hospital to Offer Skin Cancer Screening
In an effort to improve the health of central Illinois, Pekin Hospital will offer a free skin cancer screening on Thursday, July 15 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Family Health Center of Pekin located at 19 Olt Avenue. The free screening is open to men and women.
Early detection is the best treatment for skin cancer. Full-body skin checks will be provided to participants, in addition to education on the early warning signs of skin cancer.
As a reminder to participants, screenings are not intended to take the place of regular physical examinations, but are offered as an opportunity for individuals to learn more about their own health.
No appointment is necessary. First come, first served.
