Hanson promotes Bialobreski to Chief Innovation Officer


Hanson Professional Services Inc. has named Kurt Bialobreski, P.E., PTOE, an assistant vice president, to the new role of chief innovation officer. Bialobreski, who joined the firm in 2006 and works at the Peoria office, will monitor trends and technologies in the industry and oversee the implementation of innovative strategies that can serve Hanson’s clients.


Bialobreski received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Florida and a certified professional traffic operations engineer. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and was named the 2012 Young Engineer of the Year and the 2019 Civil Engineer of the Year by the Central Illinois Section. He also is a member of the American Public Works Association, Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee. In 2014, he was selected as a Rising Star in Civil Engineering by ZweigWhite’s Civil + Structural Engineer magazine and was named one of the 40 Leaders Under Forty by InterBusiness Issues magazine.
