In this workshop, you will learn
what a Google Business Profile is, why you need this free tool,
and the steps to take to create and manage a Google Business
Profile from start to finish. Specific topics will include how
to create or claim your Google Business Profile whether you are
a new or existing business, how to manage your business info
across Google Search and Maps, and how to use your Business Profile
to connect with potential customers.
The Illinois SBDC at Bradley
University is offering this workshop as an official Grow with

Who should attend:
· Any
new or existing small businesses (retail, service, brick &
mortar, home-based, mobile, or virtual) who has or wants an
online presence and is seeking more customers and conversions.
· It
is suggested that attendees already have a Google or Gmail
account established prior the event.

your business to appear on relevant search results when
customers are searching online is more important than ever!
· Ensure
customers can find accurate, updated information about your
local business on Google Search and Google Maps, no matter which
type of device is used.

Chris
Youngmark: prior to joining Bradley in
2022, Chris served the Illinois SBDC from January 2021 –
February 2022 as the Rural Outreach Coordinator to support the
E-Commerce Initiative for restaurants and retailers through the
CARES ACT, creating e-commerce solutions and positioning
businesses to have an effective online presence. He has advised
clients on Covid-19 assistance programs such as PPP, EIDL, and
Restaurant Revitalization, among other SBA initiatives. Since
August 2021 Chris has also been a Community Navigator, among a
network of business advisers providing grant and technical
assistance to 6 local counties as the SBDC served as a
Hub/Spoke partner with the GPEDC to implement the State of
Illinois Back to Business Grant. Formerly the Guest Services
Manager at the Children’s Discovery Museum in Normal IL, Chris
also has years of experience in project management. He brings
to the center first-hand knowledge and experience as an
entrepreneur himself as the owner/operator of The Farm Sitter
