McDaniels Marketing Gives Back to its Hometown Once Again. Donates Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce Logo Design

(Pekin, IL) Identifying the need for an update to the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce brand, Chamber Executive Director, Amy McCoy and McD President, Randy McDaniels decided it was time for a change. “We are proud to give back to the chamber who has supported our agency for decades. The McD designer, Jeff Wagnaar was excited to jump in and develop a new design and color scheme to modernize the chamber brand,” states Randy McDaniels. The agency also donated time to develop the new City of Pekin logo many years ago.

“We were delighted by the offer to update our brand. Randy and his team teamed with us to craft a brand identity that best communicates our vision and tagline: Business Leadership, Connected Community… now we can move forward with new membership materials and an updated website to help attract new members and better serve our community,” exclaimed Chamber President, Amy McCoy.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
