FREE: Bradley Senior Consulting Project

The Illinois Small Business Development Center, at Bradley University, is accepting applications for the Fall 2019 semester for anyone wanting to participate in a Senior Consulting Project at no charge.



Are you needing assistance in creating:

·     a marketing strategy;

·     a feasibility study;

·     a strategic growth plan;

·     or launching a new product or service?



Faculty-led, student-driven business consulting teams of graduating senior students in the Foster College of Business will act as business consultants to identify and solve your business dilemmas.



Teams of 4-6 students, from a mix of disciplines, work with small- and medium-sized businesses to develop a strategic plan. This plan contains:



·     an in-depth competitive analysis;

·     an assessment of the organization;

·     surveys/analyses of customers/potential customers;

·     recommendations and a timeline.



In early December, you will receive a written report during the oral presentation of the student team's recommendations.



Any business may apply; however, the projects tend to lean toward restaurants, financial institutions, retail stores, service establishments and manufacturers.



Don't wait, the Fall semester begins next month. Submit your application by Close of Business on Friday, August 2nd.





Fall 2019 semester runs August 28, 2019 - December 11, 2019.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
