ICC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AVAILABLE AS OF JANUARY 15, 2017 FOR 2017-18 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Illinois Central College Educational Foundation will offer more than 600 scholarships worth more than $750,000 to students attending ICC this coming academic year (2017-2018). The scholarships are awarded to students who will be attending ICC in fall 2017.
Students may apply for the scholarships from January 15, 2017, until 11:59 pm on April 1, 2017, using the online application system. Please note: The link will be active as of January 15, 2017.         

The online application process is simple, and by completing one application, students are automatically considered for every scholarship for which they are eligible. Online applications, as well as a complete listing of all available ICC scholarships, may be accessed by visiting http://icc.edu/students/scholarships/.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
