Pekin Community Bank hosted the September 1st Business After Hours at their new branch facility at 3512 Court Street. The refreshments were prepared by Mashies at The Clubs at Sunset Hills. As part of the festivities, a ribbon cutting was held to officially open the new branch. Mayor Laurie Barra, and representatives from the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce and employees from Pekin Community Bank watch as Gordon Honegger, Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hometown Community Bancorp, cuts the ribbon.
