Fireworks and Charity Softball Game Set for Saturday August 13   

The Chiefs return home on Saturday August 13 to host the Clinton LumberKings at 6:30 p.m. with a post-game Fireworks show presented by CEFCU. Saturday is Salute to Firefighters Night at O'Brien Field. There will be a Charity Softball Game at 4:30 p.m. as Peoria Firefighters take on Springfield Firefighters to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Fans who are attending the Chiefs/LumberKings game can also watch the one hour Softball Game for a $5 donation to the MDA. Also post-game there is a Pitch-In for Charity Tennis Ball Toss presented by Humana to raise money for the Olympia Country Swimmers. Fans can win numerous prizes including a chance at a 60" TV from American. BUY TICKETS


Backpack Giveaway, Bark in the Park and Homer's Birthday Sunday August 14

The homestand continues Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Homer's Birthday as the first 1000 Kids 12 & Under get a Peoria Chiefs Backpack courtesy of the Children's Hospital of Illinois. All Kids 12 and Under also get $2 tickets to the game and can run the bases after the game. All fans can play catch on the field pre-game with gates opening at 11:30 a.m. Homer is going to be celebrating his birthday all game long with a bunch of his Mascot friends including Staley from the Chicago Bears and Captain from the Peoria Rivermen! Sunday is also the annual Bark in the Park Day and fans can bring their dogs for a $2 donation to Paws/Taps. Post-game the Chiefs players will sign autographs on the concourse.  BUY TICKETS


Half-Price Tickets on Monday August 15

Monday at 7:00 p.m. the Chiefs host Clinton in the series finale. All tickets are Half Price as part of the weekly Monday promotion which puts Club Box Seats at $5.00 and Hy-Vee Hills Lawn Seats at $3.50. Monday is also Smurf Night so come out dressed in blue as we have fun with the cartoon and new movie! BUY TICKETS


Blackhawks' Denis Savard & Jim
Cornelison at August 25 Game

The Peoria Chiefs have announced additions to the promotional schedule for Thursday, August 25 as Chicago Blackhawks Hall of Famer Denis Savard and National Anthem singer Jim Cornelison will attend the 6:30 p.m. game against the Quad Cities River Bandits. Cornelison will perform the National Anthem while Savard throws out a first pitch and signs autographs. Meanwhile the first 1500 fans through the gates will get a 16 X 20 poster of 2010 Conn Smythe Award winner Jonathan Toews. READ MORE BUY TICKETS
